WALCE al XIII meeting annuale della Global Lung Cancer Coalition
Dal 26 al 29 Ottobre 2013, a Sydney in Australia si è tenuto il XIII meeting annuale della Global Lung Cancer Coalition (GLCC).
Il meeting si è svolto in concomitanza del 15° World Conference on Lung Cancer e nel corso della sessione della GLCC all’interno del Congresso organizzato dallo IASLC, sono stati presentati i dati di un’indagine condotta da IPSOS MORI per conto di GLCC su:
– Grado di consapevolezza generale sui sintomi legati al tumore del polmone
– Prevalenza dell’abitudine tabagica
Attualmente sono 31 le organizzazioni che aderiscono a GLCC e di queste 16 sono organizzazioni specifiche per il Tumore del Polmone e rappresentano 22 paesi.

From October 26 to 29, in Sydney, Australia was held the 13th GLCC Annual Meeting, in conjunction with the 15th World Conference on Lung Cancer.
During the GLCC session data were presented of a survey conducted by IPSOS MORI on behalf of GLCC on:
– Degree of general awareness on the symptoms related to lung cancer
– Prevalence of smoking habit
Currently there are 31 member organizations in GLCC and of these 16 organizations are specific to Lung Cancer and represent 22 countries.
